You don’t want to change…
…or do you?
Most people “say” they want to change, and they believe they do, but in actually, they don’t. Change is hard. It takes work and it is uncomfortable.
Working in hypnosis I have a lot of client come in for change. It is what I do. For the most part the people I work with really believe they want to make a change, they just don’t know how. One of the biggest hurdles is starting, being patient and allowing subtle changes to occur.
Once you start you can continue…slowly.
The best changes we can make are done slowly and consistently over time. Going about slow changes will override the brain so it won’t start to sabotage the changes that you have made. You brain is thinking it is doing you a favor because it is always bringing you back to homeostasis which is where you are. The cozy comfortable place you like so much.
So take baby steps with change. It might take you longer, but the results will be well worth it.
