Busy thoughts…One Minute of Mindfulness
I am a thinker so I understand when thoughts get going and don’t want to slow down. I had an experience last night when my thoughts were going a mile a minute. I was feeling creative, spacious but also a little distracted.
At first I wanted to shut them off, but then I realized that I had tapped into a creative place. So, I got my pen and paper and just started to “brain dump” them out of my mind.
I didn’t struggle with trying to fight them…. I let them be realizing thoughts will come and go and I don’t need to grab everyone that goes by.
So, for One Minute of Mindfulness, Let you thoughts just be. If anything important floats by, write it down…then you can let it go.
